Jade Baartse

Jade Baartse is a Sydney-based creative, stylist and tattoo artist completing a Bachelor of Design at Whitehouse Institute of Design. Originally trained as a ballet dancer, she is inspired by a lifelong appreciation for movement, discipline and the female form, bringing a cinematic and emotionally driven approach to fashion imagery.

Fascinated by unconventional themes such as eeriness or “ugliness” in art, her work explores the links between romance and unease. Drawing from art history, literature and film, she creates immersive visual worlds where every element carries intention.
